Switch VLANs (TP-Link, HP, Huawei)
The same setup on three vendors: VLAN 10 untagged on an access port, VLAN 20 on a second one, and both VLANs tagged on an uplink to a router or firewall (e.g. a FortiGate). For the concepts and the Cisco commands, see VLAN.

TP-Link (JetStream / Omada)
Section titled “TP-Link (JetStream / Omada)”TP-Link’s CLI looks like Cisco’s, but ports use the general mode: each VLAN on a port is either tagged or untagged, and the PVID (the VLAN for incoming untagged frames) is set separately.

VLAN membership and PVID of a port. |

Management IP in VLAN 10. |

HP (ArubaOS-Switch / ProCurve)
Section titled “HP (ArubaOS-Switch / ProCurve)”ArubaOS-Switch configures VLANs per VLAN, not per port: inside a VLAN you list its untagged and tagged ports. A port can be untagged in exactly one VLAN, so making it untagged in VLAN 10 removes it from VLAN 1.
switch# configureswitch(config)# vlan 10switch(vlan-10)# name "clients"switch(vlan-10)# untagged 1switch(vlan-10)# tagged 24switch(vlan-10)# exitswitch(config)# vlan 20switch(vlan-20)# name "servers"switch(vlan-20)# untagged 2switch(vlan-20)# tagged 24switch(vlan-20)# exitswitch(config)# write memory| Command | Effect |
|---|---|
untagged 1-8,10 |
(in a VLAN) Port lists and ranges work everywhere. |
vlan 1 + no untagged 24 |
Removes the default VLAN from the uplink (it stays tagged in 10 and 20). |
show vlans ports 24 detail |
All VLANs of a port and whether they are tagged. |
vlan 10 + ip address 192.168.10.2/24 |
Management IP in VLAN 10. |
ip default-gateway 192.168.10.1 |
Default gateway for management. |
trunk 23-24 trk1 lacp |
Bundles ports 23–24 with LACP; then use trk1 in VLAN port lists. |

Huawei (VRP)
Section titled “Huawei (VRP)”Huawei uses views instead of modes, quit to go one level up, return to leave the system view, and undo to remove
settings. The prompt shows the view: <HUAWEI> is the user view, [HUAWEI] the system view.
